Picabo Angler offers guided fly fishing in the Sun Valley, Idaho area. We are also stocked with a full range of rental gear from waders and boots to rods and reels to float tubes. We have everything you need to make your trip easy and memorable.

Rates

Guided Fly Fishing Trips:

Full Day Trip–for 1 or 2 anglers is $550. Includes lunch, flies, transportation, and up to 8 hours of fishing.

Full Day Trip With Our Head Guide-for 1 or 2 anglers is $625. Includes lunch, flies, transportation and up to 8 hours of fishing.

3/4 Day Trip–for 1 or 2 anglers is $425. Includes flies, transportation, and up to 5 to 6 hours of fishing.  

3/4 Day Trip With Our Head Guide-for 1 or 2 anglers is $475. Includes flies, transportation and up to 5 to 6 hours of fishing.

1/2 Day Trip- for 1 or 2 anglers is $375. Includes flies and transportation, and is located on
the Big Wood River or Silver Creek only. Fishing times are generally 8AM – 12PM or 4PM – 8PM;
these times may be adjusted by your guide due to changing, optimal fishing conditions.

Winter Trip–for 1 or 2 anglers is $375 (includes free rental gear). Up to 4 hours of fishing. Winter trips run from Dec. 1st through March 31st and include fishing on the Big Wood River & Silver Creek. Due to the longer drive, winter trips to the Big Lost River are considered Full Day trips.

Salmon River Float Trip–for 1 or 2 anglers is $625 (includes lunch) Limited to two anglers per boat/guide. This is a Full Day Trip only.

Mouse Fishing--for 1 or 2 anglers is $425. Includes flies (mouse patterns!), transportation, and up to 4 hours of fishing.

Brown Trout Trophy Hunt--1 angler only --$450. Up to 5 - 6 hours of fishing. Includes flies and transportation. This is a specialized trip where 1 angler and a guide target large trophy Brown Trout with the goal of catching and releasing fish over 20 inches. Experienced anglers only.

Picabo Angler charges an additional $150 for a 3rd angler.

*Note: Any more than 3 anglers and guests will need to book a second guide.

Costs Include: All Guiding, Transportation, Drinks, Flies, Lunch on Full Days (Lunch can be provided on shorter days upon request for a fee of $15 per person)

Costs Exclude: Daily fishing license, lunch on all trips but full day trips, rental gear and tax

Idaho Fishing Licenses

Picabo Angler does sell Idaho fishing licenses but if you would like to purchase license(s) prior to your trip, you can go to IDFG Online Licensing.
